Terms of Service
Last updated November 2, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Encore ("Encore", "we", "us"), operated by Synergy Music Group, LLC. By creating an account or using Encore you agree to these Terms. If you use Encore for a company, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you're authorized to.
1. What Encore is
Encore is software for artists, managers and agencies to handle booking inquiries, contracts, invoices, advancing, calendars, fan lists, messaging and artist data. Encore is a tool. We are not your agent, manager, attorney, accountant or a party to any deal you make through it.
2. Accounts
- You must give accurate information and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account and workspace.
- Workspace admins control who has access and what they can see. You're responsible for the people you invite.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans bill monthly in advance through Stripe, starting the day you subscribe. Prices are shown before you pay.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel any time from Plan & billing; access continues until the end of the paid period. Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Promotional codes are subject to their own terms and may be withdrawn.
- If a payment fails, we may limit access until it's resolved.
4. Contracts, invoices and legal documents
Encore does not provide contract language, legal documents or legal advice. Encore only fills deal facts (such as fee, dates and venue) into templates you write or supply. You are solely responsible for the terms of your agreements, for having them reviewed by your own attorney, and for complying with laws that apply to you. Electronic signatures collected through Encore record a typed name, time and network details; you are responsible for confirming e-signatures are appropriate for your agreements and jurisdiction.
5. Payments between you and your buyers
- Card payments from your buyers are processed by Stripe through your own connected Stripe account and are subject to Stripe's terms. Funds go directly to you; Encore doesn't hold them.
- If you choose to pass card processing fees to buyers, you are responsible for making sure that's allowed where you and your buyers are, and for any required disclosures.
- Ticketing: on paid tickets, ticket buyers pay an Encore service fee (shown at checkout before they pay) on top of the ticket price; you receive the full ticket price. Free tickets carry no fees. When you refund an order through Encore, the service fee is returned to the buyer as well. Selling tickets or taking registrations is also governed by the Ticketing & Events Terms, which you and your buyers accept.
- Payment details you save (bank, Zelle and similar) are shown to your buyers on contracts and invoices you send. You're responsible for their accuracy.
6. Fan messaging
- You may only email or text people who have opted in to hear from you, and you must honor opt-outs. Encore adds unsubscribe and STOP handling, but compliance with laws such as CAN-SPAM and the TCPA is your responsibility.
- Text messaging runs through your own Twilio account under Twilio's terms, including any carrier registration (A2P 10DLC) it requires.
7. Your content and data
You own the data and content you put into Encore. You give us permission to host, process and display it only as needed to run Encore for you. You confirm you have the rights to anything you upload (photos, logos, documents, music links) and that it doesn't break any law or anyone's rights.
Encore™, the Encore logo and “Go beyond the stage” are trademarks of Encore. You may not use them without our written permission, except to say that you use Encore.
8. Support access
With a workspace admin's permission (granted under Team & access → Support access), Encore staff may view — or, if you choose, make changes in — your workspace to help you. Without permission, staff access your workspace only to investigate security incidents, abuse or legal requests, and your admins are notified. Every access is logged and visible to you. Staff can't send messages, sign contracts or see passwords and keys on your behalf.
9. Acceptable use
Don't use Encore to break the law, send spam, infringe others' rights, upload malware, attempt to access other customers' data, or interfere with the service. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
10. Third-party services
Encore connects to services such as Stripe, Twilio, Resend, Spotify, YouTube, Apple, Deezer, Last.fm, Meta (Instagram and Facebook), TikTok, Anthropic and calendar providers. Connecting a social account is your choice and subject to that platform's terms; AI-generated drafts are suggestions you are responsible for reviewing before you send them. Their availability and data are outside our control and covered by their own terms. Numbers pulled from them may be incomplete or delayed.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep Encore running but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. We may update these Terms; if changes are material we'll notify you, and continued use means you accept them.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Encore is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Synergy Music Group, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits, lost bookings, or disputes between you and your buyers, artists, fans or team. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Encore in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless Synergy Music Group, LLC from claims arising from your agreements with others, your content, your messages to fans, or your breach of these Terms.
14. Ending your account
You can cancel any time. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these Terms. After cancellation we may delete your data after a reasonable period; you can ask us to export or delete it sooner.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.
